Day 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha

Distance: Approximately 45 km
Transfer Time: About 50 minutes

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by our safari representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha.

Once you arrive, you can relax and settle in before your adventure begins. Our safari team will provide a comprehensive briefing covering the route, daily activities, accommodation arrangements, and the scheduled departure time for the following morning.

Enjoy your evening in Arusha as you prepare for the exciting safari ahead.

Non-Game Viewing Driving Time: 3–4 hours

After breakfast, meet your driver-guide and begin your journey towards Tarangire National Park.

Before leaving Arusha, you will have a short opportunity to make any final purchases or preparations. Continue towards Tarangire, one of Northern Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations.

The park is particularly famous for its impressive elephant population, enormous baobab trees, and diverse savannah landscapes. During seasonal wildlife movements, Tarangire can attract large numbers of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and other animals.

Enjoy an extensive game drive through the park, with opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and numerous bird species.

After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Driving Time: 2–3 hours

After breakfast, leave Tarangire and continue towards the legendary Serengeti National Park.

Your journey takes you through the scenic farmlands around Karatu and across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As the highlands fade behind you, the landscape opens into the spectacular plains of the Serengeti.

Continue towards the central Serengeti and the Seronera area, a particularly productive wildlife region supported by the Seronera River.

Arrive in time for lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the surrounding plains while searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and other wildlife.

As the day comes to an end, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Rise early and prepare to experience the Serengeti during one of the most beautiful times of day.

After breakfast, set out for a full day of wildlife exploration across the Serengeti. The extra time allows you to explore different areas of the park and maximize your opportunities for wildlife sightings.

Your experienced driver-guide will help you discover the park’s diverse habitats and observe its remarkable wildlife. Depending on the season and location, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and possibly the elusive leopard.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before continuing with further game viewing in the afternoon.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay surrounded by the atmosphere of the Serengeti wilderness.

After an early breakfast, depart from the Serengeti and make your way towards the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.

More than 600 meters deep, the crater is one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Its unique ecosystem supports an extraordinary variety of animals within its natural walls.

Descend into the crater for an exciting game drive. You may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, elands, warthogs, and many other species.

The crater is also famous for its population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and potentially the elusive leopard.

During your exploration, visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake that attracts flamingos, hippos, and a variety of water birds.

After completing your crater experience, ascend and begin your journey back to Arusha.

Arrive in Arusha later in the day and check into your accommodation for your final evening.

After breakfast, enjoy your final morning in Arusha before your scheduled transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
