Experience three of Northern Tanzania’s remarkable wildlife destinations on this carefully planned 4-day mid-range safari.
Starting from Arusha, this adventure takes you through the scenic landscapes of Lake Manyara National Park, the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater, and the elephant-filled wilderness of Tarangire National Park.
From tree-climbing lions and spectacular birdlife around Lake Manyara to the incredible concentration of animals inside the Ngorongoro Crater and the iconic baobab landscapes of Tarangire, this itinerary offers a wonderful combination of wildlife, scenery, and authentic safari experiences.

Day 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha
Distance: Approximately 45 km
Transfer Time: About 50 minutes
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by our safari representative and transferred comfortably to Arusha.
After checking in at your hotel, you will have time to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. Our team will conduct a safari briefing covering the itinerary, accommodation arrangements, daily activities, and the planned departure time for the following morning.

Day 02: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
After breakfast at approximately 8:00 AM, meet your professional driver-guide and begin the journey towards Lake Manyara National Park.
The drive takes you through the beautiful countryside and the vibrant town of Mto wa Mbu, a popular stop for locally produced crafts, souvenirs, and cultural experiences.
Continue to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic destination located beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is known for its diverse landscapes, lush vegetation, abundant birdlife, and the possibility of seeing its famous tree-climbing lions.
Enjoy a game drive through the park, exploring its forests, open areas, and lakeside habitats. The park supports a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, monkeys, and numerous bird species.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated location within the park, followed by additional game viewing in the afternoon.
Later, leave the park and return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
After an early breakfast, depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations.
The crater is more than 600 meters deep and forms a remarkable natural ecosystem where a wide range of wildlife can be found within a relatively small area.
Descend into the crater for an exciting game drive. Look out for large herds of wildebeest and zebras, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, warthogs, elands, and other wildlife species.
Ngorongoro is particularly famous for its predators, offering opportunities to encounter lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and potentially the elusive leopard.
During the crater experience, you will also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake that attracts flamingos, hippos, and various water birds.
After an unforgettable day surrounded by wildlife and spectacular scenery, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 04: Ngorongoro Area – Tarangire National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, begin your final safari adventure with a visit to Tarangire National Park.
Known for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and picturesque savannah scenery, Tarangire provides an excellent final wildlife experience.
During your game drive, explore the park’s diverse habitats while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species.
Tarangire is also influenced by seasonal wildlife movements, meaning animal concentrations can vary depending on the time of year.
After enjoying your game drive and lunch, begin the drive back to Arusha.
Arrive in Arusha later in the afternoon, bringing your 4-day Tanzania safari adventure to a memorable conclusion.
