Tour Plan
Day 01: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, meet your safari driver-guide and begin your journey from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park.
Before leaving the city, you will have a short opportunity to make any final purchases or preparations for the safari. Continue towards Tarangire, a spectacular park famous for its impressive elephant population, ancient baobab trees, and beautiful savannah landscapes.
Tarangire forms part of an important seasonal wildlife movement route, attracting large numbers of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and other animals during different periods of the year.
Enjoy a game drive through the park while exploring its diverse habitats and searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, antelopes, and a variety of bird species.
After the day’s wildlife experience, proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary natural attractions.
The crater is more than 600 meters deep and supports an exceptional concentration of wildlife. During your crater exploration, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, elephants, and many other species.
Ngorongoro is also renowned for its remarkable predator population. Keep watch for lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and, with some luck, the elusive leopard.
You will also have the opportunity to visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake within the crater. The lake frequently attracts flamingos, hippos, and numerous species of water birds.
After an exciting day exploring the crater and its surrounding landscapes, continue to your accommodation for the evening.
- Meals: Breakfast | Lunch
- Accommodation: Mid-Range Hotel/Lodge
Day 03: Guided Walking Safari – Arusha National Park
After breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you from your hotel at approximately 9:00 AM. Before setting off, you will receive a briefing about the day’s game drive and walking safari.
Located just a short distance from Arusha Town and Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha National Park offers an impressive variety of scenery and wildlife within a compact area.
The park is known for its lush forests, open grasslands, colorful Momela Lakes, and the impressive Ngurdoto Crater. It is also home to wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, elephants, warthogs, bushbucks, red duikers, and the distinctive black-and-white colobus monkeys.
Begin the day with a game drive through the park before embarking on a 2–3-hour guided walking safari accompanied by an armed park ranger. Walking through the natural environment provides a more intimate experience, allowing you to observe plants, animal tracks, smaller wildlife, and the surrounding landscape from a different perspective.
Enjoy lunch at a designated picnic area inside the park before continuing your exploration. You will have additional time to discover the scenic Momela Lakes and enjoy views of the Ngurdoto Crater.
Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your 3-day walking and safari experience.
