Tour Plan

Day 01: Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Game Drive: Afternoon / Half Day

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and begin your journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park.

The route takes you through the fertile farmlands surrounding Karatu and across the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you leave the highlands behind, the landscape gradually opens into the vast grasslands of the Serengeti, where the horizon seems to stretch endlessly.

Continue towards the Seronera area, one of the Serengeti’s richest wildlife habitats. The presence of the Seronera River provides a dependable water source, supporting a wide range of wildlife throughout the year.

Arrive around lunchtime and enjoy your meal before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the Serengeti plains in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and other fascinating wildlife.

After the game drive, proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

  • Meals: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
  • Accommodation: Mid-Range Lodge/Tented Camp in Serengeti

Begin your morning early with the opportunity to experience the Serengeti at sunrise, when the landscape takes on a spectacular atmosphere and wildlife is often particularly active.

After breakfast, continue with an exciting game drive through the Serengeti. Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse habitats while searching for its abundant wildlife and enjoying the magnificent scenery.

Your experienced driver-guide will help you identify animals and provide fascinating information about the Serengeti ecosystem, wildlife behavior, and the surrounding environment.

Later in the day, leave the Serengeti and travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey offers another opportunity to appreciate the changing landscapes of Northern Tanzania.

Arrive at your accommodation in the Ngorongoro area for dinner and overnight, ready for the following day’s crater adventure.

  • Meals: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
  • Accommodation: Mid-Range Lodge/Camp in Ngorongoro Area

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable wildlife experience.

More than 600 meters deep, the crater forms a unique natural ecosystem supporting an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. During your game drive, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, elephants, and many other species.

Ngorongoro is also renowned for its impressive population of predators. Keep an eye out for lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and, with some luck, the elusive leopard.

You will also have the opportunity to visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake within the crater that attracts flamingos, hippos, and numerous water birds.

After exploring the crater and enjoying your wildlife experience, begin the journey back to Arusha. Arrive in the city later in the day, marking the end of your 3-day Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari.
