Tour Plan
Day 01: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Distance: Approximately 130 km
Non-Game Viewing Driving Time: 3–4 hours
After breakfast, meet your safari driver-guide and begin your journey from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park.
Before leaving town, you will have a short opportunity to make any final purchases or preparations for the safari. From there, continue towards Tarangire, a beautiful national park renowned for its large elephant population, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.
The park is part of an important seasonal wildlife movement area and can attract large numbers of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and other animals depending on the time of year.
Once inside the park, enjoy an exciting game drive while exploring its scenic landscapes and searching for wildlife. You will have a picnic lunch during the day before continuing with your wildlife experience.
In the evening, proceed to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Distance: Approximately 130 km
Non-Game Viewing Driving Time: 3–4 hours
After an early breakfast, depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations.
The crater is more than 600 meters deep and provides a unique natural environment where a remarkable concentration of wildlife can be found. During your crater tour, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, elephants, and many other species.
The crater is also home to an impressive range of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. Your experienced safari guide will assist you in locating wildlife and provide insights into the ecosystem and its inhabitants.
You will also have the opportunity to visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake within the crater. The lake is frequently visited by flamingos, hippos, and various species of water birds.
After completing your crater exploration, begin the drive back to Arusha. Arrive in the late afternoon, marking the end of your 2-day Tanzania safari.
