Day 01: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Distance: Approximately 130 km
Non-Game Viewing Driving Time: 3–4 hours
After breakfast, meet your safari driver-guide and depart from Arusha for Tarangire National Park.
You will have a brief stop in Arusha for any last-minute purchases or preparations before continuing towards the park. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant population, impressive baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.
The park’s landscape combines open grasslands, seasonal wetlands, acacia woodland, and ancient baobabs, creating an ideal environment for a variety of wildlife. Depending on the season, you may encounter elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and numerous bird species.
Enjoy a rewarding game drive through the park with a picnic lunch along the way. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, leave the park and proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Arusha National Park – Arusha Town
After breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park, a beautiful and diverse protected area located close to Arusha Town.
The park offers a striking combination of montane forest, open grasslands, lakes, and spectacular views of Mount Meru. It is also home to a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, monkeys, antelopes, and numerous bird species.
Enjoy a game drive while exploring the park’s different habitats and taking in its peaceful natural surroundings. Depending on the arrangements for your safari, you may also have time to enjoy additional activities within the park.
After the park experience, begin your journey back to Arusha Town. Arrive later in the afternoon, marking the end of your 2-day Tanzania budget safari.

Day 02: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
Distance: Approximately 200 km
Driving Time: 2–3 hours
After breakfast, leave Tarangire behind and continue towards the legendary Serengeti National Park.
The journey takes you through the scenic farmlands around Karatu and across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you travel through the highlands, the landscape gradually changes, revealing the vast open plains of the Serengeti.
Continue towards the central Serengeti, particularly the Seronera area, which is one of the park’s most productive wildlife regions. The Seronera River provides an important source of water, supporting a wide variety of animals throughout the year.
Arrive around lunchtime and enjoy your meal before heading out for an afternoon game drive across the Serengeti plains. Keep your eyes open for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and other wildlife.
Dinner and overnight will be at your campsite within the Serengeti area.
